New Painting!

"Bleeding Heart, Alba" 5x5, watercolor on Claybord

I've been wanting to paint my White Bleeding Heart for a long time. This little 5x5 is probably just one attempt of what I hope to be many. This plant is so lovely, so delicate and charming, I just can't imagine my garden without it!. 
This and all my other 5x5 flora paintings will be available for sale at this year's Open Studios. I'm thrilled that I get to be in my friend and fellow artist's garden selling my work (plus onesies, totes and greeting cards!) for the weekend of May 11-12. Kathleen will be in her studio while I'm under a tent. It should be a blast!
